I’m a relational therapist who works with people at the crossroads of identity, belonging and becoming.

hey, I'm Mel

While I don’t know the exact journey you’ve been on, my guess is you have realized you need some help. Whether you’re seeking it for the first time or continuing a journey that has already begun, I see that choice as courageous.

Everything we need already exists within us. These inner resources can become buried or hard to reach, and sometimes we need the support of others to help us find them again. I hope our work together will provide a haven where you can find connection and feel like all parts of you are welcome.

My intersectional identity as a neurodivergent (AuDHD), Black-biracial/binational, queer, and 1st-generation immigrant informs the way I see the world. I want to support others as they navigate multiple identities in different contexts, particularly BIPOC individuals, interracial couples, and multicultural families.

The desire to feel seen and understood is what first drew me therapy.

My approach to change:

Life rarely moves in straight lines. Most of us live at the intersection of multiple currents—family stories, cultural expectations, nervous systems, power dynamics, and personal values. When these currents collide, symptoms often emerge not as failures, but as signals that create ripples in our lives and relationships.

My work is grounded in relational and living-systems thinking. That means we pay attention to patterns, context, and connection—how things came to be this way, and how small shifts can create meaningful change over time. Therapy here is collaborative and paced, shaped by your values rather than external expectations.

I believe that everything we need already exists within us. At the same time, those inner resources can become buried or hard to access, especially in environments that misunderstand or marginalize us. Therapy can be a place to recover self-trust, strengthen regulation, and reconnect with what matters most.

the snuggliest joys
in my day-to-day

  • Neurodivergent and autistic individuals (ADHD, AuDHD, OCD), late diagnosis, and identity exploration.

  • Mixed-neurotype couples navigating communication differences, burnout, and relational repair

  • People impacted by racialized harm, especially anti-Blackness and settler colonialism, interracial couples, multicultural families, and multicultural teens and adults.

  • Grief, loss, and life transitions, including diagnosis, relational change, migration, and identity development.

You don’t need to have everything named or figured out to begin. Curiosity is enough.
